Woke up late and missed the first 2 classes. School - Mathilde was going to Vancouver later; I couldn't do a single question for my quiz; presented for my group at ad. My cell phone died due to the cold... does not bode well for Sochi! It started up again once it warmed up, so I guess we'll see what happens. ... shoreline. This close to the water there were still a few last gasps of fall color. We started the morning in Painted Rocks National Lakeshore, with beautiful layered sandstone cliffs lining the lake. It was cold, in the 30s, but there was no wind and the sun was out so it was pretty pleasant. I had a delicious lunch of fresh fish and chips made with local whitefish in Grand Marais and then we headed south and east into the woods.
