    ... the party to wait at the bar), the rest of us check out the town. Christine shows us Cows - a cute little store that sells things cow related. Tshirts, mugs and ice cream. Apparently this is the best ice cream around but we didn't try it, dinner was still to be had. We head back to James and we have to wait outside since the pub has reached full capacity. We finally make it in and are seated. We enjoy a pub dinner (portions were quite big) and roll out of the place. Uncle Jaime ...

    ... to flying. It was so bad at a number of times that the flight attendants had to stop serving dinner - and these were prepackaged dinners, not something that could spill.

    I didn't sleep well on the trip at all. What I can say was that the landing was the smoothest landing I have ever had, no bump, no jarring brakes, just a nice glide to a stop.

    I sat beside some nice people - a couple from Sarnia going to London for a vacation.

    What was too much:
    - The black closed shoes. I was thinking it would be useful for cold evenings out or nice restaurant dates. But evenings were not that cold (and I could wear my running shoes if needed), and for nice restaurant dates, I would rather walk in my comfy Birks than less comfy black shoes.
    - Scarves. I only used 2 out of the 3 scarves I brought.

    ... we would make an effort to return to. While there have been many places we have enjoyed, we have explored those places quite well whereas Toronto feels like unfinished business. We are not sure when but we hope one day to return and see more of Toronto.

    Afterword. When I refer to Toronto and Montréal as Canada's largest and second largest cities, I am speaking in terms of population, meaning they have the most people squashed into relatively small spaces. ...
