    ... the party to wait at the bar), the rest of us check out the town. Christine shows us Cows - a cute little store that sells things cow related. Tshirts, mugs and ice cream. Apparently this is the best ice cream around but we didn't try it, dinner was still to be had. We head back to James and we have to wait outside since the pub has reached full capacity. We finally make it in and are seated. We enjoy a pub dinner (portions were quite big) and roll out of the place. Uncle Jaime ...

    ... because I was a consummate Canadian and complained quietly, while others butted in front of me while checking in.
    11. I seem to learn more Spanish in 1 week in Guatemala than months of lessons in Toronto( lo siento Sergio!) Although one has to practise constantly when you leave class. In Toronto, not so much Spanish...hhhhhmmmm go figure!

    ... to flying. It was so bad at a number of times that the flight attendants had to stop serving dinner - and these were prepackaged dinners, not something that could spill.

    I didn't sleep well on the trip at all. What I can say was that the landing was the smoothest landing I have ever had, no bump, no jarring brakes, just a nice glide to a stop.

    I sat beside some nice people - a couple from Sarnia going to London for a vacation.
