    Today we had a lazy morning hanging out in the grounds of the BNB. We had a swim, the kids had a spa and Nick and I caught up on some reading. Oh and it was my birthday! I got coffee and toast in bed! And some gorgeous home made cards from the kids. After a slow start we took some rickety old bikes into town.     I've been in Italy 4 weeks now. The first few days were busy and jet lagged. First stop Milan Expo which is about sustainable living. I had decided WWOOF (WorldwideWorkersOnOrganicFarms) was the way to language immersion in Italy. Expo was a good introduction. Permaculture is the byword. I read up. I queued for an hour to get into the Italian pavilion. Thank goodness for gelato and a parade of people. It's presentation was over 3 levels. Dictionary in hand, I managed. ...
