    ... we learned in our pre-travel meetings was that Italians use toothpaste. And probably bleach too. It was an astonishing discovery. In other words, I probably asked a stupid question like, do I have to pack toothpaste? Well, turns out I didn't. Which is nice, you know, seeing as how I did this whole trip with one backpack. A lack of toothpaste begets room for father's truffle oil.

    ... on a Monday. Nor did we quite appreciate that the Italians like to siesta in the afternoon so much is closed after lunch.     ... high which is only leans out 2.5 metres. The one next to it has been reduced in height as it leans out by 3.22m and is only 48m high. We might climb the bigger one tomorrow!! We wandered the streets finding food shops one for me and one for Jules with lovely vegetables!! However the menu tonight will be Spaghetti Bolognese. After all when in Rome etc. Nice hotel.     ... above the snow line, there must haze been a considerable amount here as there is still a couple of foot at the rides of the road. There seems to be a vast amount of wagons on the road today, I would estimate that two thirds of all the tragic was HGV's.
