... it has cycle lanes throughout the city, the adjacent countryside and most spectacularly on the ramparts and city walls built in the 15th and 16th centuries. The walls surround and define the city for over 9 kilometres of its perimeter. I've been promised a walk around them.
The weather is good, Ferrara interesting with much to do, we will be here for some time.
