... is a small town on the end of the peninsula. I was met by my host who took me to a beautiful farm just outside the main town. Turkey is exceptionally dry and they have few days of rainfall each year; the temperatures can be extremely high. I only arrived at the end of August, but even then temperatures peaked at 43 degrees!

A most hilarious evening last night, with David Copperfield's new show and a bit later the crew's International Showtime. Several of the crew performed solo numbers and were not only game getting up to perform in front of a couple of hundred people but were surprisingly good! A day on Crete, enjoying great mild weather, some 4,000 year old culture, fruits of the forest, home made wine and our first ever swim in the Mediterranean. Not a bad life.
