Day 42-44: Kuta, Bali

Anyway we stayed close to Legian street, the main street in Kuta. Walked around and found some great pizza. Then we walked towards the beach and found a cool beachbar, and were playing cards there and met an Australian girl who was travelling with her boyfriend, but he was to tired to come out to eat with her. Ended up chatting and decided to meet the day after and surf together on Kuta beach.

... unexpected open sewer holes and not to mention traveling at what felt like NASCAR speed. Returning back onto the main street a young boy on a pedal bike cut in front, causing me to brake abruptly and sending me off the bike. The fall left only superficial wounds, thankfully! As much as I love the adrenaline and joy of riding a moped in Asia, I think I may have to use the two foot express for a while.

He was going the same way, and he wants to be a genuinely nice guy and do me a favor. I half trusted him so I climbed aboard his bike, bags and all, and we drove....down the dusty streets.
