... in and the next day at 1pm they arrived for their swim and I had great fun playing in the pool, somewhat exhausting though these kids have lots of energy!!

We were then invited to Noi's birthday party in the street the next night and here we meet many expats that had great tips and we learnt a lot, we met Tony and Noi, Gordon we loved Gordon, and Angus was a great guy too.

... Russian Go Go dancers in the windows for ages we eventually left and got a jeepney back to the hostel for another 10 bhat. When we got back to the hostel a French guy had turned up. His reason for travelling is to visit badminton schools in s/e Asia and either give lessons or pick up new skills depending on how good they are. ... We then walk towards a large drome where the center stage was cordoned off with an approx. 8 feet fence (quite a thin and scary structure) in which a Tiger Show was held. The show was conducted by a man and a woman clothed in tiger skin style dressing and were surrounded by 6 full grown tigers. ... and soaking up the madness which is Walking Street - the highligh being a young girl covered in tens of scorpions (I've finally found a job less appealing than my own profession). We also saw a white haired man who must have been nearing 70 marvelling his young Thai female companion danced enthusiastically around him and had to stifle a laugh as he implored her with tired eyes to "please slow down". He probably died with a smile on his face later that night...
