... had dinner at the apartment where we spent our evening having a marathon of "The Following" :-) 23rd After breakfast I went to Pattaya to see at my bank if there was a way to do Internet banking but even though they said it should be possible in the application they ask me for a Thai ID number so I think it's helpless. ... a 30 day tourist visa off the bat, if you want to get another 30 days you can either pre apply or do a visa run. A visa run is simply crossing the boarder to another country, getting your passport stamped and coming back for another 30 days- easy. It was my hope that around this time we might start to get a feel for if Gent's passport was turning up and that we actually might end up spending Xmas and New years in Vietnam or Cambodia rather then our initial expectations of Thailand/ ...

... a decent day with a nice dinner out followed by DVDs at the house.

We spent the majority of Friday relaxing and charging our batteries for a planned night out. It is just as well we did. Proceedings kicked off at a new bar opening in central Pattaya - Tony's Sports Bar. Tony is Pattaya's answer to Ric************ and his empire extends to several gyms; a few bars; an entertainment complex including Indian disco (?) and hotel; a legal practice (???) ...
