    ... what a waste of money. If you ever visit Atlantis our tip is not to do so if you are on a cruise ship stopover.

    So that sums up our cruise; good times, great company and even better memories.

    It is with heartfelt gratitude that Vera and I, and our four kids, wish to thank my mom and dad for this great vacation. We love you guys ..... and lets do this again soon! :o)

    Next to my internship at the Department of Disaster Management (DDM) I volunteer for VISAR (Virgin Islands Search and Rescue). I had my first meeting with these guys, who are really nice and will go to my first training on a boat tomorrow. I maybe also get the chance to do the helicopter training. This would be super exciting! But first start with the "small" things!

    ... with a nice American couple, we left the bar and dinghied over to the Cat and asked why didn’t they come over. It was all due to the language barrier, and they had misunderstood and thought we were coming over to them. We felt terrible but no harm was done and they reiterated that they had thoroughly enjoyed the challenge, as we said our goodbyes.

    We are now in the next bay up the coast, anchored, but not near any mooring buoys.

    ... to take sailing lessons next week when they are on St. Thomas. Amb and I really enjoy being on the water and not hearing engines roaring. We are thinking that maybe we’ll learn how to sail and we can charter a catamaran one day and sail the islands! He donates some of the money that is raised at the full moon party to the seniors center, abused women and he is currently building an area where he hopes to have gay marriages performed starting January 15, 2014.
