    Yay! We made it! We are back in Iceland. After a 4.5 hour flight out of Boston we are here. We didn't land until 11.30pm our time so it was already dark.     ... finally reach the gate at final call. We had been up 4 hours and stood in queues for 2 hours. With no coffee let alone breakfast we were a bit frustrated (weren't we B?).

    But soon all was forgotten as we took the first step of the journey home.

    ... fresh air as the plane doors opened. Yes it was cold, but a manageable cold, plus we had someone from Blue Car Hire waiting for us to take up to their depot. We had chosen a Kia Rio, which turned out to be a good choice, we were worried that the winter tyres were taken off all the cars a week before our arrival, as there was heavy snow forecast in the far North (one of our stop off points).
