    October 12, Sunday Gorge, Waterfall and Antayla

    This morning we left (almost forgetting to pay for our dinner)!! Firstly, the bus took us to the Saklikent Gorge. It was a great gorge – we walked through it – Craig venturing further through the wet bits. Once again a lovely day weather wise.

    We also went to spend 20 minutes with Doctor Fish – where we put our feet into a tank and let the little fish ...

    ... camp owner in Dalyan. Sunday we went to Finake, not a tourist city, and met a few locals who were really nice and helped us find our accommodation. We managed to offend our host ( most accommodation in Turkey are guest houses rather than hostels) by choosing not to eat a meal cooked by him (for a costly price) nor did we eat at his recommended restaurant (also very costly), but instead had the best value chicken dish elsewhere.     ... the steps and steep walkways of the old town to hop on a gulet for 2 hours of cruising along the coast. Very pleasant it was too with the sea breeze and the chug chug of the engine.

    A quick tea for me when we got back, a blissful shower and then dosed myself with vitamin C, and garlic to ward off a pending cold that is doing the rounds of the coach. Tomorrow is another day......
