... from Germany. Good music, dancing starts up. We leave at 1:30 to catch the last bus. I am relying on my roommate who is totally confident about the schedule. Well, we wait with others but find out the last bus left awhile back. We need to find a cab which is difficult since everyone is trying to get to a bar/club somewhere. We finally get one. A late night by my standards but just starting to get going. My back could not take any more.

... afternoon at the beach back in Playa de Palma. It is so nice to have warm weather with sun. Quite a contrast from Scandinavia. This is an area full of German tourists. Mostly Spring break atmosphere. Apparently it is dominated by package deals. I have seen very few other nationalities here. As an indication, at the airport, Air Berlin dominated the airlines (even though this is Spain it is not Iberia or SpanAir).

... of Spanish. For a novice, this throws me off quite a bit. Luckily they all speak English but reading can be difficult although many places will have both languages represented. <br><br>By the time I am done settling in, I have just enough time for a quick walk along the beach. It is a long beach, 2km or so. It is reasonably pretty with palm trees. The street along the beach is full of bars, restaurants and tourist stores. Every block is a cookie cutter of the next. I crash early.

... Dumping-Preisen hinreißen, was für den Kunden, also den Touristen nur vorteilhaft sein kann. Die Leute kommen von überall her, sogar aus dem tiefsten Norden reisen sie nach Spanien an, da dieses Reiseziel wie bereits erwähnt wahnsinnig schnell zu erreichen ist. Man fliegt von dort nur drei Stunden maximal, worauf der günstige Flugpreis und die günstge Urlaubsreise zu schließen ist.

... from beach bumming. I had one last day to relax and now I have to head back to the UAE. I have a short flight back to Girona this afternoon and then have to make my way over to my hotel near the Barcelona Airport where I have an early morning flight tomorrow back to Dubai via Paris. Three weeks seem to fly by and don&#8217;t seem to be enough. At least I have 10 days off in both August and September and have my tickets already for Thailand.
