Back to the room for final packing. Took the camera out to head the other way in Fontainhas. The colours were equally bright. There is an air of suspicion at worst [uncertainty at best] amongst locals to see somebody not only in a residential neighbourhood but also taking pix. A smile or ...

However when we got to Lucerne we simply could not find ...

sparkling on the water making everything feel fresh, clean and even more
attractive. But it’s actually quite a hike to the park, so the modern,
inviting Kiosk is a welcome sight for the footsore.

After a long night of deliberation and planning Haydn and I decided to break ranks and head to Zurich Switzerland by ourselves. We had found out on the net that Swiss National Day was 1st August, and for no reason at all we wanted to be there! Lauren, Gregg & Will continued on in the car to Italy and I would catch them up later after leaving Hadyn in Milan to meet up with Angus and Nella.
