Dusseldorf - relax before the work starts
After exhausting bus ride, we were happy to get to or hotel room. Our exchange partners were great and right after they proposed dinner, we forgot how tired we are. With 2 of my friend we took short walk around the city center just before we went to bed.

Oh de Cologne!
Cologne is dominated by the Dom basilica. When you come out at the station it is right there, towering over the square, wonderful intricate spires but blackened with age and grime. I found it very gloomy and we had a sense of it not being such a centre of worship as some of the other cathedrals. Nevertheless it is a stunning building and parts of it are truly ancient.
