    Over 400km later, we arrived at our next overnight stop in La Ciotat. Was a newly built apartment over looking the port.     ... By the time we arrived home the wind had blown up to 50kmph and we had to park in the bottom carpark because the market will set up in our carpark tomorrow morning. Almost blown off our feet as we walked up the wind tunnel streets to the apartment. When we met up with two Australian's on Friday, they told us that in several years living 3km away from Bonnieux, the past week had been the worst weather they had experienced. More of them later.

    ... temperature can only be described as brain freeze cold. I had my wetsuit with me though and soldiered on for an hour or before calling it a day. In all my excitement I shredded my feet with my flip flops, it had to be trainers for a few days. I was such a tourist here, I walked around in shorts and a t-shirt, everyone else had jeans, coats, scarfs and hats on (with the occasional baguette for good measures).

    It all started with an overnight bus trip from London to Paris on a friday night, worst idea ever! Absolute chaos at the London eurolines station! Finally on the bus at 10pm, half an hour late, and on our way. We were on the bus for about 2 hours then changed onto the ferry for an hour and a half then about 4 hours from there to Paris. Managed to get quite a bit of sleep so arriving in Paris at 9am wasn't too bad. We were experts using the Paris underground after all our ...
