Wedding vows were crafted in France in Napoleonic times, requiring that the married couple "Protect their children in security, health and morality, ensuring their education and allowing their development, showing regard to them as people." ...

It all started with an overnight bus trip from London to Paris on a friday night, worst idea ever! Absolute chaos at the London eurolines station! Finally on the bus at 10pm, half an hour late, and on our way. We were on the bus for about 2 hours then changed onto the ferry for an hour and a half then about 4 hours from there to Paris.
