Not the start of the day we had planned, I had been ill in the night, with food poisoning! Was it the water at the restaurant? That's the only thing I had last night that Dave didn't. Dave sent the maid away to give me time to recover...that meant we had to make our own bed! Bugger. We took a walk to town for a "safe" cup of tea and some plain bread. It was nice enough to sit outside Cafe de la Maìrìe again, even though the sun wasn't ...

Dave had scallops then skate wing. I had skate wing then sorbets. It was very nice until we went to pay and the credit card wouldn't work. It's half term and didn't we know everywhere, well it gave Dave something to comment on! Sunshine all the way, just time to have a cuppa and kit-kat and then we were off! Only half hour drive to our Ibis Boulogne-sur-Mer, room 306. 10 minutes ...

Our last day in France and it rained all day. I thought that was rather apt. We arrived in the rain and we are leaving in the rain. It looks like its really happening and this guy is going to take the van. He is very excited and is travelling down with us to Cornwall tomorrow and then driving the Beast away. We are nearly finished one part of our journey and will have some time with Jane and Anton and a small trip to Greece to look forward ...

... so hopefully there will be no delays. Nope, no delays, no migrants, nothing! Also a good clear drive back home there were even no queues at the Dartford Tunnel. Back home by 3pm and spent the next 2.5 hours unloading and sorting stuff out. All done, can't wait until next ...
