    To our surprise the aggressive tone had been adopted by our hotel who had decided to incorporate street art (graffiti) as a central theme to the hotel's remodelling. It was splashed down hallways and affronted you in lift lobbies.

    There's nothing warm and welcoming about graffiti whether it be under a motorway or in your hotel.

    ... 8-9 hours with the transfers. We arrived at the Westin Grand Hotel (an SPG property) in the early evening. We found the Westin to be a very nice hotel.     ... In the afternoon Warren and I split up for the optional excursions. I went on a bus tour of the French countryside in the Alsace region which included a wine tasting.
