      Jumping Jack Flash

A four and a half hour ride through miserable weather of torrential rain! Though I was expecting this storm in our path. The rain came hammering down, and it only made riding more difficult on the motorway. I was singing along to the tunes of Jumping Jack Flash to keep myself upbeat, "I was born in a cross-fire hurricane......I howled at my ma in …

      Europa Park

A travel blog entry by jtate on Dec 26, 2014

Today we went to Europa Park. The park is separated into all the different areas of Europe. From Russia to Spain to Iceland. It is themed like that country and has rides, shows and entertainment. Not opened at 11 so we got there early so we could go straight in and go on some rides without the queues. There still were queues though. We started with a bobsled roller coaster that Ash cracked me up! Her words- I don't like this, I don't like this, AHHHH! And at the end she wouldn't admit it ...

He did some great hands free singing. He needs a new cracker, he broke his one, at least he shared it! We then went back to Paul and Odell's (fabs rents) house for dinner and had a full cooked salmon and a huge French dessert. Continued today with present giving and ...

... took her drugs. We then decided to have our Christmas Day lunch picnic, which involved ham and cheese croissants, and a loaf of bread with pesto, cheese and left over sliced ham, with a few glasses of red. Colleen told me that the red wine would help her head. While Colleen was recovering from her migraine for the remainder of the afternoon, we just chilled in our room relaxing and having naps. Well tonight is our last night in Strasbourg, so we have booked ...

      Shopping and Strasbourg Christmas Markets

We went to the local shops and bought two new jackets, pair of shoes, two scarves, two jumpers, three pairs of gloves and walkie talkies. Possible more but I don't remember. It is much cheaper for winter stuff here. Really good quality and looks fantastic. We spent way too much. Later the day we caught the bus to Strasbourg to see the Christmas markets. We walked through a massive shopping centre to get to the markets. I had to pee so went into Meccas ...
