... craziest room was the gold room! the entire room, every inch of wall and ceiling is covered in an intricate mosaic depicting swedish history and government. At city hall we also, of course, climb the bell tower to see the views from above. This was much better than the one in Copenhagen because the halls ways were not a narrow and there was order. Only thirty people up at a time which made the experiences much more enjoyable! Afterwards we raced over to meet our walking ...

... in Stockholm. We wanted to purchase a projection alarm clock (shows the time on the ceiling at night) and some indoor/outdoor wireless thermometers. Yes, I'm sure they sell them in Spain, but we just haven't discovered where! At any rate....we had already purchased an extra suitcase and now we have "filled" it with things we "need" from Sweden. I just weighed the bag, not overweight yet!

... brings everyone out into the open air. Along the frozen river banks, in cafes where in outdoor areas blankets and reindeer hides are provided and in parks, people are capturing what warmth is on offer. Very pleasant ambiance and a very pleasant day to be out strolling and enjoying the day.

we arrived in stockholm around 8:30pm easily went through customs took a bus from the airport to the central train station(20 Cdn) took the metro from there to Petra's place, which was a 5 minute walk in the dark on a pathway.
