Welcome to Sverige
The first thing I truly remember from Europe is Stockholm in winter. It had snowed for a while, and it was already dark outside. The pilot told us that we were just about to land and I looked at the window and there it was: Stockholm, beautiful, great, and breath-taking.
I was going to study in Sweden for half a year, but not in Stockholm. …
Taking it easy at Arlanda
Finally arrived at Arlanda Airport, I really can't contain my excitement. I'm ready to just start crying right here and now... But all I do is stand around and stare out into the distance. Took a coffee break at Wayne's Coffee, ate a vegetarian bagel with turkey ;) A blueberry muffin and a bottle of "Mer" orange. Stuffed two "kexchoklad" down my …
Ready for take off!
Swedish Style in Stockholm
... mmm... It was then time for me to head back to my hostel for another early-ish night. And here I am, in the hostel common area on my laptop listening to the music the French people are playing. Bed time now, so see you all later!
Tuesday 17 January
Today I got up, had my toast for breaky again and headed out for a wander. I went in search of a big food hall I’d ...

- Stood in line for the self check in but for it couldn't print my, or the girl before me's ticket so we had to get in line for the baggage check in to be able to get or tickets. Not to bad but still an unnecessary waste of time. Didn't have this problem the last time I did self check in (2010).
- Another complication at the ticket control, probably because of the first mistake.
- The ticket control staff didn't really explain anything either, they just had me standing there while the rest of the line entered the plane. I was actually scared at one point when they started talking, to each other, about my baggage. Never new why it didn't work, they just let me enter when they fixed it.
+ The toilets are very clean and fresh.
+ As is the whole of Arlanda.
+ Arlanda is quite the big airport but, although somewhat confusing with so many, has signs everywhere do you won't get lost.
I didn't know what terminal my plane was leaving from and mistakenly went to terminal 5, instead of 2 as I was supposed to. Just walked through the airport and found terminal 2, easy as a pie.
+ The woman at the baggage check in was nice and helpful, and explained what had happen and why and then have us our htickets.
The two first times at Arlanda there were no problems an I would actually like to give it a 3.5, but since I can't I'll give it a 3.
