Getting hot and sticky

We arrived in the Bordeaux region to more hot weather and very high humidity. The countryside we passed through is miles and miles of rolling vineyards, and enormous paddocks of grain and sunflowers. Ancient-looking chateaux and wineries are everywhere, and we've passed through village after village of red-roofed stone buildings, each one with its own church steeple, and some with an abbey or cathedral. Another late entry...due to no internet at our latest stop. There is free internet down at the waterfront, but feel such a nerd getting technology out when it is so picturesque and tranquil. Monday 2nd June We packed up and left Sarlat, excited about the thought of arriving at Euronat for a full weeks stop. But it was not to be the quick trip we thought it would be.
