... two days here we decided to take a train into the next big city. When we got to the train station we found that the next train was a two hour wait. Needless to say we didn't wait but walked back to the church and had a look around the crypt.

Last week, as it was my last week in Rochefort working at Pierre Loti Collège, some kids, mostly the younger ones showed that they were sad to see me go. I could tell that they really have enjoyed my weekly visits in their class. There were two classes specifically that did something nice for me. ... skinny rope, they kept adding to it by using this specific “machine” that twisted the little ropes together, making a big rope. There were all sorts of different sizes of course, but like I said before, the ropes were super long and stretched out throughout the whole length of the building. Well today our plan was to do our own bike tour of the city. The route was planned, the bag was packed now all we needed was the bike! Bordeaux has this great system where you can go to one of the 139 bike stations around the city, pay for a bike and return it somewhere else along the way.
