      ... Some of the bridges are quite elegant, and the one we crossed had sculpted busts of many famous explorers. Of course, our little green friend had to do his share of exploring, and there are some great photos of him to come. We're sorry aout the lack of photos still, but while our Paris hotel is very good, the internet connection is very slow and photos take so long to load that the operation times out. We will catch up honest!

Therefore everything relating to God was at the top (the Abbey and the Monastery) and everything below was placed in order of importance with the farmers and fisherman left outside the fortified walls.
