... with a few points at various objects. Cleaned the udders, primed some teetes, but I couldn’t manage to get the ‘sucker machine’ on right. I tried several times, but couldn’t get it on ‘veet’ enough! Mama took us around showing us absolutely everything! She is such a fun lady - not put off at all that we don’t speak French. Kersava, Brittany, France 2totango... that day that turned into such a massacre. The American cemetery has more than 10,000 soldiers buried there and is a beautiful park-like setting right bordering on cliffs of the beach. All the small towns we went through were somehow damaged or totally destroyed by the war which was something the tour guide was continually pointing out .. even with all the beautiful structures you can not help but think how much more fabulous it must have been before the war.

Brest, Brittany, France fbauchetAfter packing the car we went on the port for the "petit dejeuner" and we took the tourist drive toward Brest to be closer to my friends. We found a hotel called Oceania with a swimming pool (do not get excited as it is only 3ft deep) design for English tourist in mind. But the rooms were nice and large so all in all not a bad choice but for the location.... the local industrial estate. Anyway ...

Roscoff, France girlygirl1226... by racing up the hill to the Mayors office to get a signed and stamped certificate from the mayor himself explicitly authorising camping for the night of the 30th May. It was as tough as the bargain beef from Netto we cooked on the camp stove. 4 litres of wine later I sat on my camera and smashed the LCD screen. All was forgotten after racing round the lake in the pitch black speeding ...
