    We took the train to Rennes, the current capital of Brittany. It was a bit of a train ride getting there and as we approached the terminus we were a little bit disappointed with what we saw - modern buildings and high rises. Oh well we will just have to make the most of it.

    ... don't want to use the portaloo, which you may have noticed we usually tow behind in the dinghy. Why tow the dinghy? Not sure! But it came with the boat and is in good condition, not sure it will be after a few hundread locks sorry ecluses, it also reminds me that I have over 3 metres of mast sticking out the back of the boat.
