... I am out by 11 PM.
There is an electronic intercom system at the entry door to the building of my hostel (located on the 3rd floor). Instructions are in Polish. After several failed attempts, I stop a couple in the street to read the instructions. So much easier when one speaks the language.
I had to move to another room at the hostel since the 8 bedroom was scheduled to be full. I sm in the 10 bed room with only one other person.
... architecture. The area around the center has been rebuilt and does a great job of transporting me back in time. One drawback is that they have a modern building right in the middle of the central area which takes away from the time capsule homogeneity.
The food here is excellent; the nightlife appears to be pretty good. There are a lot of interesting bars. Because of my cold which is getting worse, I am only out for 1 beer. The ...

... much room for imagination. The good thing is though, in case of fire you will all be in good company clambering madly down the stairs together; just like old mates. Fortunately there was no fire, but my hosts kept me toasty warm with their incredibly warm hearts. The hospitality I have been shown in Poland is probably the best I have seen in Europe to date if you look at each country as opposed to the other. In this case I had found out earlier in the day that I had 80zl left in ...
Poznan, Poland amullettThis is it, we have finally left Belgium behind us : Ingrid, Frank and Kadi on their way from Hasselt to Poznan in Poland. Normally the drive is very boring, but 3 happy travellers enjoyed it very much thanks to a good combination of travel stories, games (thanks Rrabbit for the "it's my birthday-game") and puzzles. Time flew by fast and suddenly it was time for us to leave Kadi on a parkplace in de direction of Berlin where she was going to ...
