... ended up at the marina where we had tapas the day before. As the day is very warm we decide to stop for a coffee en-route and Tess had an ice cream tub of water. We enjoyed an alfresco lunch of the usual(no wine) and a little ride around on the bike, I had forgotten how far you can get on a bike in a few minutes. At the end of the week, we dropped the “Great Randino” off at the train station as he was flying home from Paris the next day. We continued on the road leading the Atlantic side of France, again just across the border from Spain. I had planned this drive so that, if time allowed, we ...

... with a hard tail with 20kgs in the panniers. Our bikes did handle it quite well however at least 30kms was tough.
Finally we arrived at Ventenac where we had left the car with our friends David & Sundara. Looking around we could not find them and there was a hell of a mess in the back yard with tree branches and a wrecked pergola, ladder up the tree about 7m and we thought David could be injured but no just taking a Nap!!!
