Had a really good dinner tonight, regional specialty (crepes again) with apple cider.

Ok, so we arrived in Nantes....bit of a nightmare to park, but all good. Found a very centrally located budget hotel (1 star) - cheap and cheerful. We had booked the small room, but as that turned out to be on the fifth floor, we opted for the luxury room (an additional 4 euros a night) on the first floor. Is quite big, with ensuite bathroom. ... after tearing that apart we had some wonderful clips to work with. Sewing them together with some spare nylon cord made a great synch strap for the bag.

Our compression bags are also showing some wear. Brain is so good as compressing them as tight as possible that the material is beginning to rip. This is easily repaired with some more nylon chord as well. Hopefully this will last us for a little while longer!
