    ... that they were so generous and allowed me to join them so I paid. My accommodation is an apartment - yippee. I am so looking forward to cooking a simple meal.once I went through all the check in info the hotel didn't have any maps so suggested I walk up to the old city tourist office and yet one - it is less than 5 minutes away.     ... and a bottle of wine for him - so nice. This hotel's internet seems to be really slow, so I'll post pictures tomorrow. Went to eat dinner late with Johnny and Jan. Oysters, mussels and goat cheese salad were delicious. Sorry I didn't take pictures. Fun times! Tomorrow we have day in Sete to go to market - should be interesting. Bonne Nuit!

    Before heading back to where Karine and Olivier live on the east coast of France, we took a little trip to Montauban, a small city where Olivier went to boarding school as a child. This city is as old as the village where the wedding was, dating back to around 1150.

    ... about 6:00 to quickly freshen up and met the group for happy hour before heading out to dinner. Susie had read about a restaurant that only served one menu every night - chef's choice. The 6 of us went there - Michael Anne, Susie, Jan, Johnny, Richard and I - it was great food and wonderful. We gave Chez Navarre 2 thumbs up!     ... but there wasn't much assistance as the lady couldn't speak English. The cars behind us were making us get even more stressed so we did a few laps and tried again. This time we got a man who could speak English and amazingly he opened the gate. Phil took a deep breathe and we drove to Montauban.
