Today was a day filled with lots of traveling to reach Lyon. The first stop was at La Fontainebleau, where a stunning chateau of Napolean was the site of the day. After a delicious cuppachino at a French bistro, the journey continued. After another 2 hours journey we reach Chateau De Cruix in the Boujelais Wine Region. The scenic hills of the vineyards surrounded us as we were given the opportunity to taste some of the award winning wine along with some ...

After lunch we race back to Place Bellecour where we are booked to join an ...

... a shoulder bag and dragging hers and Becky's suitcases, while I had my suitcase, backpack, the food bag, the tickets and Becky's hand. We had to take a couple of rests and our arms felt like they were falling off by the end, but finally we reached the platform and sat Becky down. Next, I had to work out where on the platform our carriage was likely to stop. I knew from our trip on the TGV from Paris, that there is not much time between arrival ...

... able to make the most of the last sunny day in Lyon: Monday. I spent Monday reading "No et Moi" and people watching outside on the benches right by the water!

On Wednesday, Jonathan, Yoanna, and I went to one of the best rated restaurants in Lyon. It was such a cool place and the presentation and the taste of the food was absolutely fabulous. In the afternoon, we all had a wine and cheese tasting in the afternoon. We tried wines from the Lyon region: ...
