... the blow-up bed was malfunctioning so they were both sleeping on the couch! What a way to spend the night before their 50the Wedding Anniversary!!!
Leisurely breakfasts were enjoyed with no great hurry to head out into the drizzly day but eventually we motivated ourselves and walked into the city along the canal - ending up at the Galleries of Justice Museum. Over to Lauren to tell you all about it....
... dinner later that evening and headed back to the lodge, but first we had to find somewhere to eat! There were 3 pubs in Greetham however the one we wanted to eat at was booked out. We hightailed it back to the lodge to work out dinner arrangements and Piglet and Rob had arrived.After much snorting and squealing between Beaver and Piglet , we got inside to find that our travelling companion, wee Austrian Beaver had been fashioned a lovely high vis outfit by Mummy Moll ...
... Elizabethan house. Well worth the drive and despite the cold a great walk around a property that was designed as pure Elizabethan bling.
Having to stay somewhere we washed up at the Regency Hotel in Leicester. 2 enormous Victorian houses joined together. Has been a convent and our room has 2 stained glass windows.
And we've only been in England a week.
... better. Craig and I have always been close, but the last time I saw the rest of my cousins, they were children. Getting to know them now, where the youngest is 16, was so cool. I could hang out with them everyday! My aunts and uncles were phenomenal, as usual. I always miss my family from afar, but when you get to see them again you realise how much you truly do miss them!
