It's right in the centre of Geneva which in our couple of days here seems to be a bit of a stiff place and not particularly friendly. I am never alone when I can call for help or just to enjoy a moment or two of human contact on the telephone after another day walking alone through fields, forests and urban landscapes. ... Islands for the week), and I was being picked up by my friend Michi to go to his place near Bern. So Thursday morning I went for another run in Lausanne - and it was magical. The sun was finally fully out and the bird life along the lakes shore was lovely (see photos and commentary). I said goodbye to Lausanne at lunch time when Michi picked me up and we started sightseeing immediately on our way to his place. (14-20 Oct 13 week 15 of my training ...
