Our trip to Normandy!

We visited a museu in Coer and then headed for the beaches. Standing on the cliffs with the ruin of the German defences and looking down onto the beaches is something you need to experience for yourself.
The countryside is beautiful and the small towns you travel through along the coast are wonderful aand quaint.

A quelques jours du grand départ...
Je me sens plutôt sereine et je profite de ces derniers jours pour voir la famille, les amis, finaliser la pharmacie et autres indispensables du voyage. Ce soir à Rennes et demain à Paris.

Le Chant des Marins + l'été
... hatten, unser gesamtes Kartoffelfeld bis zum 15. August zu ernten, letztes Jahr wurden wir damit im Oktober/November fertig und die Würmer hatten etwa die Hälfte in der Erde schon angeknabbert. Dieses Jahr waren sie schon groß genug um sie zu ernten, nun werden sie gelagert und hoffentlich nicht von den Ratten attackiert.

Yet another early start this morning – however, it would have been even earlier had Cam & I actually woken to our alarm! Thankfully Judy & Dave were already downstairs and enjoying their Parisian breakfast when they called us at 6:15am just to check… very thankful as our ride was coming at 6:30am! We jumped out of bed, grabbed our stuff, and made it downstairs just in time for our tour guide Ian to walk in ...
