... of the Banon AOC style. This little cheese is amazing - a soft goats cheese which only takes 2 hours to manufacture and then about 2 weeks of aging - is wrapped in dried chestnut leaves and is so far the most absolutely outstanding cheese of our trip! Each 7-8cm diameter cheese requires about 1L of goats milk to manufacture, so you can understand that the production is pretty flat out!

... each one with big old churches and something unique about each town, stopping of course along the way to sample their cafés and patisseries! Two of us will be on a strict diet when we get home!

We left Rose's cottage sadly because it had been such a lovely place to be "at home" and made our way further south, together with many, many huge trucks on the main autoroute. A highway which takes trucks all the way from Northern European countries to Italy, ...
