... buffalo mozzarella, tomatoes & fresh basil (from their garden) drizzled with balsamic vinegar. The main course was chicken wrapped with proscuitto in a mustard cream sauce with mushrooms. I had two helpings!!

Jet lag was setting in, so it was bedtime. I was so glad I had made the journey & felt guilty for how much Patrick & Jackie were spoiling me & this was only day 1!!

... rest of the harbor. However, we are the only cruise ship here, and unlike everywhere we’ve been so far, we are docked right in the center of town, as opposed to in some sort of industrial area. In fact, I think the best views of Monaco can be seen from our ship. I’m kind of surprised that a ritzy town like this would even allow a tacky cruise ship in its waters.

... Our first stop was a perfumery that showed us how soaps, creams and perfumes were made. The girl showing us around also explained the difference between Perfume and Eau de toilette. Basically you only need to apply perfume once a day and the smell with last whilst Eau de toilette needs to be continuously reapplied. Most people walked out having bought some perfumes and soaps.
