... of a walk around then decided to go with some roulette. We don´t have a lot of extra cash so I just got €25 in chips then watched a guy with 500 quickly lose nearly 300 in 1 spin which freaked me out a little. I put 5 on red and was quickly told it was minimum 25 so I ummmed for a minute then thought stuff it and put my whole lot on red. Spin........winnnnnn doubled up. Being the accountant that I am I quickly put that 25 away. Round 2 5 on 0 then a random 5 ...

... take place at 11.55am so we walked up to the palace and explored the various tourist shops on the way (bought a couple of things this time), the palace guards performed the changeover ceremony, they looked impressive, but did have a few smiles on their faces from something that must have been amusing.

We walked back to the ship for lunch and let Zac have a rest while we went out to explore more of this very interesting city ...

... though Nice’s Cours Saleya, the main market square and little Italy, enjoying the sights, sounds and gelato all over again.

From there we walked to the Chagall Museum, a “must see” destination. I loved the many references to Chagall’s orthodox Jewish upbringing and his “fear” of God. Seeing the Biblical themes depicted in his art truly moved me. We also got a chuckle ...

... we could not get map, so we just winged it and I headed off in the wrong direction, luckily Tom had a little better sense directions and got us back on track.

The walk started with a series of ramp style paths, then into a path then stairs then a really rocky path then a combination of stairs and a rocky path, at this point I was really regretting my decision to wear jeans as it was quite warm it took us over an hour with a couple of photo graphic moments ...

... more than happy when the boys got rid of them. The next thing I know, one of the guys suggested going for a swim.
