      ... Once we got on the Auto-bahn, we could drive pretty fast. Glenn got up to 100+ mph at one time. We stopped several times along the way at a rest stop to use the rest room. I would always look for WC (wash closet). Most of the rest stops did not have toilet paper. One rest stop, we had to pay 50cents to go through the turn-stile.       ... neighborhoods.

      In the Old Town are several plazas, churches and the 600-year-old Romer, Frankfurt's city hall. All reconstructed. We split a brauwurst and grilled onion sandwich delivered to a walkup crowd. A brief shower slowed us down only for a few minutes. We were only approached by two panhandlers while in the area. They must have been out on strike.
