I'm sat in the theatre, peering cautiously through a fierce haze of hot sparks currently pattering down from the ceiling and, by pattering, I more mean flying uncontrollably in all directions. Ignoring the obvious downside of rehearsing directly next to a six metre-high shower of hot metal flakes, I am filled with tremendous hope. Haha, Lincoln you have made quite an impression on your younger cousin!!

After about six hours on the road we hit the outskirts of Hamburg …. then another hour later we were at Mali’s house, thank goodness. Sadly we aren’t actually catching up with our eldest daughter on this visit as she is in America with her imposter parents ...

... so we went to find it and got lost about 3 times…we ended up walking back down the Reeperbahn and getting burgers from the place that was closest to our hotel anyway!

We got up at about 5am this morning because our travel agent had emailed about the issue with our return flight home. After seemingly sorting that out I had to pack again. After breakfast we checked out and caught a train to Hamburg Hauptbahnhof (central station). We left ourselves a lot of time ...
