Early start, an awesome breakfast and dressed in my wedding clothes I set out for the DVA offices for a meeting. Corinne stayed at the hotel and took herself out for a long walk through the streets of Hamburg.

We arrived at Hamburg at around 2.00 where we checked into the luxurious four star Maddison Hotel which had been booked for us by my business associates from DVA. Pure luxury after our bus. Our bus has a total of 4.5 square meters of living space, now we were thrown into 35 square meters. We nearly lost each other.
An early start following sneaked in daddy cuddles! A quick take down, swift showers and sarnies thrown together before leaving our beloved Dokkum for Germany. A brisk 240 miles thanks to German efficiency! The guide book told us there are no real speed limits on much of the autobahnen..... It did not lie!! We arrived at a great little site on the Elba River in a little place called Stove, just South East of Hamburg ...
We had New year in Hamburg with two Aussie friends from work. After fitting in an extra very comfy bed for vistors using wooden grates as the base, there is still plenty of open floor space in the middle. Early hours of the morning we hit the beds and caught up on much needed sleep.
