We chugged into Bangkok around 8. Ella wrestled herself off the train, she couldn't fit in or out with her bag on so had to do it in stages.

Along one of the outside walls between the guesthouse and the palace, there is an incredibly detailed hand painted art telling the story of the green King of the Demons and how he went from being evil and killed with the help of the white monkey to coming back as a good, protective demon in his next life. And weirdly this is the same with the city too, building and shops seems to be suffocatingly close to each other, almost like they are are strangling each other to get the attention of clueless tourists trying to coax them out of their freshly changed Baht.
