... I'm on Ko Tao and playing that while riding in the back was pretty damn fun. So the hotel is another $150+ place for under $50. It's... ridiculous. I have a LIVING ROOM, and again a SEPARATE SHOWER. Best of all, it's in Sukhumvit, a more "mature" area of Bangkok. ... The traffic in the city was absolutely chaotic - several times we saw intersections gridlocked because the one car able to move, wouldn't, for whatever reason. However, the traffic on the main highways was so polite. A flash of the lights, and they immediately moved over to let you pass.
My favourite mall was the City Mall, but we still missed "doing" two floors, despite going twice. It seemed to have very "me" type shops.
