The only people who speak English here are Museum personnel so I’ve had to be a little bit bolder and try my hand at French. ... scary story. The flight MH17 that was shot down a year ago over Ukraine was only 35 kilometers ahead of the plane he was flying in. I guess it did a real head trip on many of the flight attendants for quite a while after; He had many more interesting stories to tell so, all in all, the 10 hour flight went quickly. I had lots of magazines I had not been able to read, so went through all of them and discarded. More room in my suitcase for shopping! I also brought along a book ...

... auberge de jeunesse, beaucoup cherchant aussi un logement avant l'année universitaire, contrebalançaient un peu tout ça. De manière intéressante, mon point de vue était partagé par de multiples personnes, et j'ai entendu à plusieurs reprises des internationaux se demander ce qu'ils faisaient là ou bien regretter ne pas avoir choisi une autre université d'échange.

Je me suis aussi rendu compte que mes quelques photos sont toutes des photos de toits et de clochers, ...

... in March 1917.

He then married and had three children and six grandchildren. Despite being a TPI pensioner, he went back to work, as a ships carpenter at Garden Island navel shipyards, working there through the depression and WWII

He died peacefully in Sydney in 1964 in Sydney, still with the German bullet lodged behind his heart.....
I feel very privileged to have walked in his footsteps today.
