Hello everyone in the warm country back home.

It is now officially Winter. Yesterday the highest temperature was -3 and today on the way to Uni it snowed! Only slightly, but never the less, there was snow. This weekend it is supposed to snow quite a lot. I am looking forward to it. I will be in Lauterbach, Wurzburg and Rothenburg, and all will look so romantic covered in white. ... everyone about what had happened to us last night, so Rafael wore a suit, Martin wore a suit jacket and we tried to dress up as best we could to make ourselves presentable. Ironically, there were hundreds of kids, families, school excursions and the like at the Opera, and only a few oldies.

They tried to 'modernise' it a bit, so that it was more like a dream than a reality. The Prince wasn't in a wood, he was in bed and ...

... for others. The music was so different to Rent that it was hard to appreciate it. But at least I knew what was happening.

After the Opera we managed to get back to the hotel with 2 trains, one bus and one tram (and 20 mins of walking). I really hope that the train sytem comes back soon!

... station too late. the only train that we could catch would arrive in Witten after it had already started, we were really disappointed, but now we are determined to see La Boheme next Saturday night in Duisburg and we'll investigate train times before we go so that we're not disappointed again.
