    ... have a proper meal, or what passes for one here – no veggies

    ... every wall, and it's obvious that a lot of effort goes into maintaining the painted ceilings. We also saw the botanical gardens, which was so much better today than it would have been yesterday, bright and green and lush in a huge glass greenhouse, not dissimilar from the old Crystal Palace, the Europeans get everywhere eh?     Slept well on the night train surprisingly it was quite comfy lots of leg room. We got to Brazil it's so hot we are all sweating messes! We got a seriously sweaty bus to Pantanal which is like Brazilian jungle type environment. Then got an open top bus it was like being on safari I started to burn quite quickly and all of us were sweating on the seat in desperate want of a shower.
