Back for a final quick shower. Double checked the flight. It is at 1500, not 1600, so will leave the Panjim Inn around 1130. Left the key with a staff member and advised reception I would be checking out but hanging around for a bit.
It is common on tours to get a nice hotel at trip's end. The Panjim Inn fit that bill to a tee. It was a reconverted home, a heritage hotel. It is nicely appointed. The public areas are clean. ...
Today we set off at 8.30am to meet our tour bus for our day trip to Mt Pilatus, which is west oF Zurich, not far past Lucerne. Our first stop was lucerne where we spent about an hour. It was about a 3 hour trip, again through the most amazing Swiss countryside. Long tunnels went through mountains, some tunnels were 5 mins long, (with the train traveling at 95kph)!! They were massive tunnels! The final hour of our journey was right along Lake Zurich, a huge lake, bordered by snow capped mountains on ...
