... fun fact - on the field next to us practicing was their women's soccer team. Four of the players were World Cup players and at the most recent World Cup, one player (pictured 2nd from left) had a hat trick (3 goals). They graciously allowed me to take a picture of them.

A great end to our visit in Zurich - early morning bus takes us to Neuschwanstein Castle followed by a trip to Munich with dinner at the Hofbrauhaus.

Now I wouldn't call it a restful sleep as there was heavy turbulence as we flew over Malaysia. The pilot said that this time (11:00am) was one of the heaviest times for flying so we took off almost an hour late, as we waited in a long line of taxying planes. Good thing we didn't have to make a connecting flight or we would have had to rush to the next ...

... fraction of what we were used to paying for a meal in Switzerland. It’s no wonder the stand was surrounded by business men all on their lunch break grabbing tacos, quesadillas and tortas before heading back to work.

So after covering most of the old town we decided we should make our way back to the hotel to collect our car and get on the road since we still had one more stop on our Swiss adventure, Zurich. As we made our way into the biggest city ...

... We couldn't go inside, so admired from the outside and wandered around the edge. On the opposite side of the river is the church at St Peterskirke, which has the largest clock face in Europe. Around here are all the narrow, winding streets, with cute little shops and cafés, covered in Swiss flags. However being a Sunday, most were closed, which was a shame. We spent a while wandering around and getting lost in the maze of streets. Apparently the cafe to try out ...
