... went into the Delta Sky Club and inquired if I could get on
the earlier plane. Unfortunately that plane was full, so I waited in
the club until 9:15 when I headed to the gate. Only about 15 people
boarded so off we went on the final leg of another great trip. I
walked in the door of the house at about 11:00 pm after a full day of
travel and it did not take me long for my head to hit the pillow,
dreaming of my next destination, wherever it may be.

J'ai décidé de partir et voyager, parce que j'ai pas vu beaucoup d'endroit encore en Europe( L'aéroport Charles-de-Gaules, Bordeaux, Moulis-en-Médoc, la gare de train à Lyon, Grenoble, pis Morzine). Sinon quand on travaillait et SEULEMENT quand on travaillait on avait droit a un diner avec beaucoup de vin et les soupers aussi. donc on a réussi a se souler sur le bras du chateau poujeaux. Mais quand on travaillais pas(c'est arrivé 3 fois pour 3 ou 4 jours collé chacun!!!!!) on avait droit a rien, meme pas des re-fill de papier de toilettes ni a l'eau chaude(y fallait cogner au maison voisine pour ...

... surement avoir un ptit repit pour pauser mes fesses sur une chaise pis ecrire pendant 3h ce qui c'est passe en 4 semaine(pis en buvant du cafe!!!! je veux tellement boire du cafe vous avez pas idee). Donc....C'est ca qui est sa, comme disait...quelqu'un....

En la desembocadura del lago de su mismo nombre se encuentra la ciudad medieval, con el Palacio de la Isla controlando el acceso. En lo alto el castillo domina la ciudad y el lago.
Dormimos en el Hi Hostel Annecy, a 10 minutos dle centro.

We sadly left Chamonix and vowed to return there in the winter, and drove to Annecy. Annecy was kind of a repeat of Prague, beautiful old city, on the water, with canals... we were kind of sick of that scene by then. They are applying to have the 2018 Olympics there, with the ski events at Mont Blanc. It would be a nice venue for sure.

... and warning lights come on in the tunnel. Once I get to the other side I am greeted by another toll booth manned by the cheerful French, I have been sneered at and treated very dismissively by the Italian toll booth operators it was so nice to have a cheery greeting into France I nearly cried. It's not all over yet, I'm still in mountains, with winding bends, some steep declines and temperatures of down to -10C, to say I'm petrified is an understatement ...

... said it would only be open in June though. I've been eating with Paulina and her friends, but I think cooking two meals a day is just way too much of a hassle for me. I'm sure I'll be eating lunch there as often as possible for the rest of June. Tonight we have a pizza party at 7. I'm trying to get caught up on my Paris entries. I finally got my photos organized last night, so I'm getting there. Bisous for everyone at home!

We pass run down chateau that looks ripe for the taking but I reckon we'd have enough money to do the roof only! 4 bulls take a shufti and the fence looks very flimsy and though I'd like to get to kow them better I keep on walking. A beer by the roadside and I confidently wander into the bar to pay and understand every word - just like a CSE oral - except with Euros!
