Last night I met up with some relatives that I haven't seen since I was 7, a long time ago. I was sooooooo nervous, OMG what are we going to talk about etc etc. Was immediately OK as soon as I walked through the front door, they were so friendly and it was great to feel at home straight away.

... breakfast from our B&B and then we ventured off for a day long drive to see all the area had to offer. We saw an amazing castle in the middle of nowhere, walked around the lakes and sampled some local cuisine, Pasties and Sausage Rolls. It felt a bit like Phillip Island there, although with a lake and no beach, everyone seemed to be tourists and very busy but it was the perfect place to go whilst travelling England. What a brilliant day - fantastic weather with a brisk wind for us beginners, great kit and instruction provided by Western Windsport, sporting company and a lovely backdrop of the Bristol Channel, Steepholm and the Welsh coastline in the distance. Thanks to Mike for making it happen. Recommend everyone to give it a go!
