... and a cute top. They was a groupd doing what looked like Capoeira dance and after they went off stage, a group came to teach Samba Rock. I loved it! In my entire time here in Brazil I hadn't been around so many people of African descent, so it was a nice change. I can’t wait to go to Salvador! That is if I can afford it…the plane tickets are reasonable, but traveling alone is no good for decent hotel rooms.

Last week Thursday and Friday was Corpus Christi...a holiday I was not expecting! In small cities there is usually a procesional and decorations, but in Campinas, it is just a day off.

After the sermon, I chatted with Rick and Arunya, who took my phone number, promising that weŽd get together sometime. What a wonderful day! IŽm glad I found a church to attend and had the chance to meet some pretty ŽlegalŽ folks!
