... the lard/fat stuff on the table was for.
We walked around some more, past another square area. We found the famous statue of the Donkey, Dog, Cat and Rooster near the town hall. The statue is from the Brothers Grimm tale of The Town Musicians. We never made it to the harbor or to the Universum Bremen science center since we had to get back for an event in Braunschweig. It was a fun day and I will definitely go back to explore more, maybe with a better plan for the day!
... did I see; well there was the drunken soccer fans either heading to or from a game, there were the drunken high school aged kids that looked like they just come from the disco. Also there were plenty of beautiful girls walking through the station but the best was the really drunken guy sleeping while standing and then in the chair then standing again. He was everywhere and then the police came to talk with him. Again it was an interesting few hours ...
Bremen, Bremen, Germany drunkendidierWhat can I say - I really love Germany and this little town is no exception. Actually stayed here a couple of nights mainly to catch up on emails and sleep. This is a cute little town that is most well known for its travelling musicians of Bremen which is a rooster atop the cat atop the dog who is standing on the donkey (apparently they were scaring robbers who invaded their house). They have a statue of this in the centre of town. Aside from this the town is ...
Bremen, Bremen, Germany alanna.holloway... in German, laughed, and walked away. Awesome.
You all know that when I get stressed I get teary eyed, so when a man approached me and helped me, I was trying not to cry. It turns out the information centre was wrong about the lockers. I had to trudge back to the train station, in the terential rain, to find a locker. I was soaked and so was my bag. The poncho is not so great in the wind.

Bremen, Bremen, Germany jrmelando... for a windmill. Seismic data gives you one picture, and you synthesize and clarify that with the help of drilled cores and other in-situ data. This helps create an accurate picture of what the North Sea seafloor looks like, and you can know what types of sediment are there, and which areas are safest/least expensive for building. (Our cores penetrate 45 meters below the sea floor.) There's an extensive glacial history in the North Sea, so you have lots of valleys that were created ...
Bremen, Bremen, Germany mankyoldboot23... t have room for us! So, luckily, they could put us up for one night, we then we had to scramble around today trying to find a place to stay. It was most frustrating! To top it off, a huge festival is kicking off here tonight, and so NO places are free! Every single room in the city was booked.... except one. We got in a very pricey single room not too far from the station. They put in a mattress for us. It´s a nice bright room, but small. Too bad we couldn´t stay at the first ...
Bremen, Bremen, Germany wagonmaker... not to mention that i may have forgotten moments, but I hope you get a picture of what kind of experience we are having! anyway, at the moment I am still sitting at Chami's house, supposed to have left much earlyer in the day (its now 4pm) it takes ages to write all this, and I guess we will run out of light before we arrive at the hitching spot we picked to exit Bremen. Still, we are going to ask Chami if we can crash a single ...
Bremen, Germany david.kairisBremen-ade, just what you need on a warm day in Bremen, Germany. We arrived in Bremen with a map that did not have the name of the street we were looking for on it. It makes it tough to find a place that is not on your provided map. Thankfully, the people of Bremen are super friendly and we had no problem finding someone who would help us. it was tougher to find someone who knew where we were going. We finally did and also got some local ...
