We left 8.45am plenty of time for the journey to Dover. Our ferry booked for 12.55. It was an easy ride, with only light traffic. As we arrived so early we were put on the 12pm crossing. It's half term and didn't we know it...kids everywhere, well it gave Dave something to comment on! Sunshine all the way, just time to have a cuppa and kit-kat and …
... and we could see the camp and hundreds of tents. Finally we were on our ferry, after taking ages in the check-in queue. The ferry was only half full, and we were able to get a seat by the window at the front, to relax and watch, as the White Cliffs of Dover and home got forever closer. 4pm English time, we start the long drive back to Pennine way...we've had another great time in France which never fails to make us ...
