    Woke up at the crack of dawn after a good nights sleep today and had a good walk round to see the nearby sites. Even though it was early the fish market was in full swing and what a site to behold, fresh fish galore straight off the boat onto the quayside, 2 litres of Mussels Si Vous Plait ! - my kind of grocery shopping. We ventured into town for fresh bread and the best garlic we have had in years to make Moules Marinere later ...

    ... to catch up with them and getting to know a new spot. They love to walk as does their mad & lovely dog Teddy, who felt so at home with us that we when we turned our backs he was straight in the van!! We were cooked a fabulous meal or two and particularly loved the roast dinner done in our honour. its funny the things you miss about living in the UK.

    Arrived Safely

    We arrived safely and spent a bit of time on the beach before our evening meal. We returned for a few beach games before an early night to recover from the trip and prepare for the trip to Bayeux tomorrow.
    Having a problem connecting to the wifi at the hotel so these messages are being relayed through Mission Control in Mayfield.
    Hope to have the problems sorted and photographs to post of activities so far by Saturday ...

    ... was happy to let Corrie come in with us so we sat in the warmth for a while to enjoy a coffee. The last few euros was disposed of getting a few bottles of that nice Ruby Leffe at a local store.
