Today we got up early for the slow drive to Italy. We packed up and then got in the car. On the way we stopped at a restaurant,on the side of the road. When we got there we went out for a walk. Fresh almond croissants for breakfast and some orange-strawberry juice. First class on the train is empty so we stretch out. We go past some pretty french towns like Poiters which is built into the side of the cliff and Bayonne. ... learned they had brought extra to share with us (nicest guys ever) and of course we returned the offer with our pasta to which they polity declined. After lunch, Emmanuel, played us a little flamenco on his guitar. I thought to myself what price can you put on this experience? It was so out of the ordinary.
