... over one hundred Australian dollars. We have decided to try a different way going home.
The countryside is lovely, nice and green, but a different green than England. We got a glimpse of some lovely old french farm houses. I feel, that is going to be exciting exploring France.
Our room is good, we unpacked and Margaret got herself organized for tomorrow. We found out we could catch a free bus to the local ...

... king (6th century) and prison/trial venue after the French Revolution and during the Reign of Terror. (I'm sure Heather is loving this!) We saw the cell where Marie Antoinette was held for 76 days before being tried over 2 days and then beheaded. Bought the yummyiest sandwich and brownie from a Brasserie and a couple beers and made my way to the metro. Beautiful ...

... lively part of town rising above the city, with great views over Paris. The Moulin Rogue is also found here, along a street with lots of particularly "interesting" shops and shows. We had a few offers, but declined politely.
We headed higher up the hill and walked through the Basilique du Sacre Coeur, a beautiful basilica looking over the city. We had lunch here then jumped back on the tube and headed towards Champ Elysees. We walked up ...
