Does what is says, clean handy bed, yucky green, I miss my kettle.

In hindsight score improved. Has a quiet nights sleep, shower was super and 4.95 breakfast more than adequate.

... in a pub! We met up with Isy and Ryan's friends and sampled some beer. I had sampled some cider instead of beer! Was a nice afternoon. Today we took Ava to the snowdome! Which I now see is how the British do winter sports! The lack of snow in this country makes winter activities hard! So they have indoor skiing/snow boarding, tubing/ sledding and a section to ...

... couple of weeks ago with Claire to get a dress. I met at Claire's house to get ready, then her friends arrived in a taxi to pick us up. The ball was held at Drayton Manor, which is a theme park near Ashby. There was a professional taking photos there which was awesome, as he printed them off instantly for you to take. I just wish I had got more taken! We left the ball just after midnight. It was rather difficult to get up ...

... still things to do and see in the city. When we arrived there was a food and jazz festival in the city which was fun to check out and the Library was really awesome too, lots of great views from the top there!

While there wasn't as much touristy stuff to see in Birmingham it was still a really enjoyable time spent dining at different ...

We reversed out of the basin and moved to the sanitary station, opposite the Tame Valley Canal. We were able to get to the elsan point, but there was a secondary gate before the rubbish bins and this needed a resident’s key so we had no access, and we left the rubbish near the gate.

We winded (i.e. turned round) in the Tame Valley and headed for the Ryder’s Green Locks. After ...

Philo has been working hard and keeping me happy. We are having more fun than ever and are always looking forward to our next adventure. It's so nice to have someone to share these fun times with, but also to share the down time at home.

It's getting freezing again, with temperatures already down to 2 degrees in the day time. I imagine we will get a bit ...
