    ... They don't charge anything so try to impress you quite a bit so you tip them well! The man who showed us around is British so the accent in itself was entertaining. We walked around and saw a lot of beautiful architecture and history. The thing I remember the most is his interpretation of Barcelona as a city of reinvention. Anytime something in the city was damaged from this or that, the Spanish had gone in and made something better from it. It's a lesson ...

    ... she was happy to accommodate us! After Rafa won the first set handily, we decided to walk to Passeig de Gracia in search of a piece of pottery to take home for ourselves. After making our purchase, we walked around the corner to Taverna de Barcelona to watch the end of the match. Our waiter was so sweet and gave us the poster advertising the final that had been hanging at the entrance. We went back to the hotel and crashed for the night.

    ... booked some tickets to see a football game this weekend and then we checked out a food market on La Rambla called Boqueria. We were both peckish from strolling around so we tried some paella which was delicious. I also drank some sangria which was surprisingly tasty!
