          ... others. Not for long as we were shooed off by an official. It was now 4:30. Went across the road to the taxis. Whatsapped James ( d'Orsay on wifi luckily) and asked for the apt address. Got taxi back to the door. Totally worth it !!! James went to supermarket for dinner, but couldn't find me any pills.           ... like spires on a hill overlooking Paris. It's definitely worth the 6 euro to climb up the tower - 300 or so narrow marble spiral steps to a panoramic view of Paris! While we were up there the bells tolled 12:00 and it was amazing to see the huge bell so close. There are a lot of gargoyles on the parapets. These were apparently designed to conduct water away from the walls of the cathedral so as to prevent water damage. Instead of plain pipes, ...

          ... of champagne to start. Very limited menu two entrees and two mains one dessert so we ordered one of each per couple and swopped half so we could try all. $35 so amazing value. The restaurant was tiny but loved the decor. We noticed there were five in the kitchen which was about the size of my kitchen here in Paris and two on the floor. Very pretty food.           ... but I felt slightly guilty. There was a girl on our tour who got lost and ended up giving her headset back to some random worker there. She was being questioned by the authorities because they couldn't find the headset she gave back. We had to wait on the outside of the Louvre for about 30 minutes for it all to get sorted out.
