... and beautiful lights. The highlight of course was the Eiffel Tower, we arrive around 10pm and it is lit up and then all of a sudden the twinkle lights start. Everyone around it just lifted with excitement and the cameras are snapping away, who can get the best selfie, who can juggle for the best photo postion. ... the drawbridge, and through the grounds of the castle. On the other side was the parc. The parc du floral was amazing. The daffodils were gone, but the tulips were in full splendor. There was a bonsai garden indoors, and a number of different playgrounds which Rhea loved. You could here the french children's delight at meeting an English speaking girl.
At sunset we ventured back to our place and settled in as the real sightseeing would start tomorrow.

... 15 places to eat inside, and had the set breakfast. I am liking the chocolate croissants. We then got a bit lost on the way to the Egyptian display and spent a while wandering around the statues. Another beautiful day. This is how a blog gets stale because there is nothing happening. We woke early as there was some construction starting and we were also without power for most of the day. We decided there was really no where we had to be so decided on aimless meandering. Aimless for me but I believe Stephen is always operating from a plan. ... for Phantom of the Opera) was absolutely stunning and I could actually see most of the dancing on the stage. The ballet was so lovely and graceful and I bought a champagne at intermission which made me feel very elegant. It was a great evening and even better that the ticket only cost ten Euros!
