Rose had a restless night's sleep as she was too hot, so she woke a little later at 730am. Leaving the house at 930am we then headed to a place called Carnac, which is famous for its ancient standing stones. En route we passed by a family fun park which Rose, ever watchful for such an opportunity, asked if she could visit, mounting an effective campaign of persuasion! So we ended up stopping there for about two hours. Rose had a great deal of fun at the ...

... of Wimbledon on our return to the UK. We cruise along the coast for only a few minutes before spotting a little island joined to the mainland by a mere strip of sand. It is too much of a gem to resist and we park up and explore. We spend ten minutes adventuring before walking back in the warm sea which is protected by the natural dam the rocks made and sat in the sun.

Next we make our way to the lovely town of Vannes which is very much like stepping back in ...

... realising we were in a vegetarian restaurant. Also had a fab day in Quiberon, and another in the area around Piriac - sur - Mer.

The boys love being driven around in the VW UP - who wouldn't - plump cushion in the back to snooze on and big windows to look out of. We've walked miles with them, I don't think they know what's hit them! Lucky boys.
